Step into the vibrant, imaginative world of beloved author and illustrator Eric Carle where literature, art, movement, and science come to life! From crawling like caterpillars and learning about the butterfly life cycle, to crafting colorful chameleons and planting seeds to take home, your child will enjoy a fun and educational journey filled with art, discovery, and connection.

Each session includes a read-aloud, interactive discussion, movement or games, a creative craft, a themed snack, and a science or nature connection. This camp is perfect for young learners who love stories, enjoy creating with their hands, and thrive in playful, structured environments.

What to Expect Each Day:

  • Read-Aloud & Story Discussion – Bringing Eric Carle’s books to life

  • Literature-Inspired Crafts – Creative, tactile art activities tied to each story

  • Science & Nature Exploration – Life cycles, camouflage, time-telling, and more

  • Movement & Games – Relays, scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, and charades

  • Themed Snacks – Wholesome, book-inspired treats your child helps assemble

  • Reflection & Sharing – Opportunities to connect, build confidence, and express ideas

Books include favorites like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, The Mixed-Up Chameleon, The Tiny Seed,, A House for Hermit Crab, Rooster’s Off to See the World, The Grouchy Ladybug, and more!

Dates: July 14-17 (monday-thursday, no camp friday) 10am-12p
